Here's a sniper rifle that is considered to have been perhaps the finest of its day. This is a Swedish M41B. Originally developed during WWII as the M41, the M41B is an upgraded version and like the M41 is based on the famous M96 Swedish Mauser. "Swedish Mausers" are a family of bolt-action rifles based on an improved variant of Mauser's earlier Model 1893, but using the 6.5×55mm cartridge, and incorporating unique design elements as requested by Sweden. This one got the nod. I bought an Accumount repro scope mount and sent it to a trusted gunsmith.

There are differences b/w m41 and m41b snipers and collector's will attempt to acquire all types. The mount system is different so that it can hold the German vs the Swedish scope (all ssr type). Been waiting to get this one for a while. Its a 1908 dated Carl Gustafs dated reciver. It has a post war german AJack 4x90 scope.

Anywho, that's a fantastic M41B! I was sponsored to shoot a M41B in Vintage Sniper class during a BPCA silhouette comp. Long story short that rifle out shot all the other rifles on the line that day. They don't fit me worth a darn but I was impressed with the rifle in general.
